3.0Job Summary
3.1Responsible for providing technical knowledge of Customer specifications of product while maintaining Customer reactions in accordance to all deliverables and issues feedback.
4.0Essential Functions
4.1To provide technical knowledge of customer requirements and needs, to ensure that systems are implemented, maintained and adhered to in such a manner as to ensure that customer expectations are met.
4.2Must have the ability to
4.2.1Utilize effective time management skills.
4.2.2Maintain good people skills.
4.2.3Communicates effectively in both verbal and written form.
4.3Assist the Quality Assurance Manager in preparation and representation during all customer related quality audits and surveys.
4.4Take the lead role in customer relations. This is to include visitations, problem resolution, corrective action and communication of customer complaints. Maintenance of PPAP after Advanced Quality engineer and Program team hands it off to the plant.
4.5Keep plant personnel informed of quality related issues, as well as promote quality awareness throughout the manufacturing facility. This includes checking customer websites for quality issues.
4.6Initiate 8D meetings with cross-functional teams to reach root cause/corrective actions of the issue.
4.7Participate in on-site sample runs of prototype and pre-launch product. Assists Advanced Quality Planning team in implementing normal production quality checks at each build to promote product awareness and knowledge exchange at each build.
4.8Work with plant management teams to establish, implement and monitor the Standard operating Procedures in accordance with TS16949.
4.9Product feedback on disposition of product in AI area/NCM cage daily.
4.10Initiate sort/rework activity for a customer issue immediately and communicate with customer.
5.0Additional Responsibilities

5.2Compliance to internal audits regarding quality procedures.
5.3Ability to ensure that plant is knowledgeable of programs and ensure that product will not ship without appropriate approval.
6.0Education / Experience
6.1Three (3) years experience in the Quality area.
6.2College degree desirable.
6.3ASQC certification as CMI, CTQ, CQA, CQE, CRE and/or CQM a plus
