Sales Engineer AK Open (J#22549)
Experience: 4 - 9 years

Molded Devices is a custom dip molder, custom injection molder and dip coated. Molded Devices can offer the the cost effectiveness of dip molding, the precision of injection molding, or a combination of the two. Molded Devices combines its unique knowledge of materials, applications and various molding processes (custom injection molding, dip molding, and dip coating) with the latest application technology. Molded Devices also offers a full line of protective, masking and sealing devices, including caps, plugs, grips, busbar boots, and medical balloons.

The Sales Engineer position will be based out of Southwest Mold, a division of Molded Devices, and located in Tempe, AZ.

The Sales Engineer is responsible for managing customer relationships and growing sales with both existing and new customers. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of account management and sales growth. This position requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment, and a willingness to travel.

Requirements

The Sales Engineer should have project management experience and be willing to manage the opportunity from lead generation through the first production run.

Outstanding oral and written communication skills.

Control and coordinate all administrative duties related to your open projects

Preparation of proposals, sales presentations, company profiles, advertising initiatives, mail campaigns, production and tooling quotations.

Responsible for receiving, and managing in-coming RFQs.

Maintain quote logs, customer relationship management database, and track progress of opportunities.

Develop an in-depth understanding of customer requirements performs sales lead pre-qualification efforts to help management determine a potential clients strategic value relative to the growth plans of the company.

Ability to meet deadlines with timely follow-through & multi-tasking

Effectively develop long term business relationships within internal and external key decision makers establishing effective mutual understanding and dialogue with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.

Comfortable with after-hours social events with clients and prospects

Equipment

Must be competent on computers, fax machines, printers, and various other equipment commonly found in an office environments.

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office

Following specific training provided by the company, may be required to become operationally efficient on specialized custom software packages.

Qualifications

This position does not require a formal degree however, five(5) or more years experience in an injection molding environment is required, performing as a Sales Engineer, Project Engineer, or Program/Account Manager.

Must be able to function independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent oral, writing, negotiating and team skills are required
