QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER

Majors Plastics, Inc., a leading custom injection molder located in Omaha, NE, is currently seeking a Quality Assurance Manager. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining a company-wide quality system that focuses on customer satisfaction, defect prevention, and continuous improvement utilizing six sigma techniques. Essential duties will include, but not be limited to; Maintaining ISO-9001:2008, identifying and resolving systematic quality problems through a reduction in variation in processes and components, maintaining and enhancing quality system reporting performance metrics, improving profitability through reducing internal scrap and customer returns, working effectively with Engineering and Quality Engineers to ensure on-time First Article and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) validation, field customer complaints, document corrective actions, and provide leadership to teams for root cause analysis and solution implementation. The Quality Assurance Manager will oversee a department of fifty (50) plus employees. Best-qualified applicants will have a degree in a related field or equivalent experience, ten (10) or more years of quality experience, three (3) years of supervisory experience. This person will train alongside the retiring Quality Assurance Manager.
