Project Engineer GA Open (J#24781)
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 4 - 9 years

The Project Engineer is responsible for acting as a divisional on-site expert regarding customer requirements and should be able to coordinate all functions involved in meeting customer expecations as well as recommend process alternatives for improving cost, quality, productivity and safety. Duties include but are not limited to:

Ability to communicate with appropriate personnel in order to provide optimum proposal to the customer

Perform Cost Estimating functions during the development cycle

Change Shop order routings and BOM's to reflect engineering change requests

Oversee updating Engineering print files and revisions

Disposition product for material review board sign off and establish corrective action as required

interact with manufacturing personnel to establish standard processes to ensure customer expectations are being met.

Communicate pertinent set-up and processing information to molding techs

Peform Quality Engineering by establishing quality plans for each part (FMEA's Control Plans, Work Instructions, Work Cell Lay outs and PPAPs)
