Job Summary:
Adjust, maintain, build, repair, install, alter or overhaul all production, utility, material handling, or other electrical mechanical equipment required for production and service to plant facilities. Troubleshoot solid state and digital electronic circuits on equipment using electronic schematics, troubleshoot and install PLC and components. Accurately complete all required shift reports.

Essential Job and Quality Functions:

Comply with OSHA and company safety and hygiene standards
Communicate with other departments on a frequent basis
Document all completed work in logbooks and in CMMS database
Perform equipment repairs, alterations, overhauls and removals
Fabricate new parts, alter parts, and perform preventative maintenance as needed
Utilize blueprints, sketches, catalog, wiring diagrams, precision measuring equipment and all hand and power tools
Replace drive units and pic's, controls and automation migration across multiple platforms
Program PLC's
Monitor all equipment for proper operation and provide feedback on any repairs or adjustments to keep equipment operating correctly and efficiently
Make quality repairs to equipment utilizing oscilloscopes and other high-tech testing equipment
Make electrical installations or repairs to equipment and building facilities, including in-plant power source
Repair or install gas, water, and air or vacuum equipment
Direct and mentor trainees and other maintenance personnel in assigned duties
Required skills
Working experience and knowledge of controls engineering design changes
