Journeyman Moldmaker

We currently have a job opportunity for a Journeyman Moldmaker at our Salt Lake facility.

As a Team member your primary focus will be production support. Duties will include mold maintenance and repair, in and out of the Press. Must be proficient in reading and understanding tooling Blue Prints. Ability to problem solve molding, part & tooling issues, recommend and implement tooling modifications as corrective action. Understanding of the Scientific Molding Process, Lean Manufacturing Principals and 6 sigma are a plus. Must know how to use the appropriate precision measuring tools. Proficient in the use of all machining equipment (mills, lathes, surface grinders). Proficient in the use of one of the following: Hardinge CNC lathe, Fadal CNC mill, Unigraphics CAM/ Master CAM programming. Agie 3 axis sinking EDM. Minimum 5 years experience.

Major Accountabilities:
Maintain and Implement mold improvements
Repair molds
Perform preventative maintenance to molds
Maintain shop records
Control shop inventory
