Controls Engineer FL Open (J#14209)

I have a very nice opportunity for a Controls Engineer for an expanding automotive parts (engine) manufacturing facility

in North Florida. 30 miles go the Gulf and 90 minutes to Panama City Beach. Beautiful area. No state income taxes.

Following is a list of the education/skills/qualifications we are looking for.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent work experience

Formal training completed in programming languages for Allen-Bradley PLCs.

5-6 years experience in manufacturing...at least some in an environment manufacturing automotive parts.

Must be fluent in programming languages for Allen-Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).

Must have a fundamental understanding of computer communications and network implementation

Experience working with relational SQL databases and their applications.

Must have three or more years experience with the development of Real-Time software for PLCs.

Must have three or more years experience with the development of Panel or PC-based HMIs.

Excellent oral, written communication and time management skills.

High degree of self-motivation. Strong organizational skills.

Personal Computer skills including experience with MSOffice and Program Management Software needed.

Well established skills related to presentation development (MS PowerPoint) and delivery.
