Job Description:

- Proactively contribute to the success of the molding department by ensuring quality standards, production schedules, and established standards are met. - Confers with production personnel to resolve problems affecting production schedules. - Ensures that machine setting variations are recorded and proper according to the set-up sheet. - Troubleshoot quality problems such as splay, flash, heat sinks. - Make adjustments to sprue pickers as needed. - Purge machine with styrene for safety reasons. - Cleans molds and properly lubricates. - Complete all required documentation in an accurate and timely manner. - Studies and standardizes procedures to improve efficiency. - Assist PQT and Material Handler with parts packing, weighing, housekeeping, and maintaining safety standards. - Communicates any problems to the Maintenance Department and Shift leader for maintenance related problems. - Other duties and projects as required.
