Die Cutting Technician

Location: New Richmond, WI
Compensation: $22 $25 per hour

This is an outstanding opportunity to work for a premiere manufacturing company in the beautiful Western Wisconsin area. Excellent pay, benefits and live in an beautiful area with excellent schools.

Responsibilities

- Responsible for creating prototype parts from scratch on both the rotary and flatbed hydraulic press from a drawing file
- Work with pressure sensitive adhesives, films and other substrates
- Work with a variety of die cutting equipment
- Work with AutoCAD to modify and create machine layouts
- Be the lead operator for a given project and run equipment both with and without guidance
- Additional duties and/or projects may be assigned as required

Qualifications

- Five years of experience creating prototype parts from scratch on both the rotary and flatbed hydraulic press from a drawing file
- Three years of experience designing with AutoCAD
- Previous supervisory experience a big plus
- Experience with the operation and adjustments on a Rotary Die and Hydraulic Flatbed Die press needed
- Knowledge of pressure sensitive adhesives, films, and other substrates and how those materials react to die cutting and handling on equipment is required
- High level of mechanical aptitude
- Experience with inspection techniques
- Able to work as an individual or on a project team
- Ability to use Microsoft office to create documents and spreadsheets
- Attention to detail is a must
- Must be able to lift 25 lbs. shoulder height
