| Chemist WI 65 - 80k (J#13781) Education: Bachelors Degree Experience: 4 - 9 years An industry leader in the production of custom graphics used in the Automotive, Retail and Appliance Industries has a need for an experienced Chemist to join their R&D Department to research and develop new products to market, support continuous improvement of processes and related printing materials, supply test results and aid in the solving of customer problems. Duties: Review the needs/potential markets in coordination with the VP of R&D for initiation of research projects to ensure companys technical leadership in the graphic arts field. Independently design necessary test procedures and experimental design need to ensure an accurate and complete evaluation of all pertinent test variables. Responsible for documenting all work in order to maintain records. Responsible for assisting production personnel on technical matters or in implementing new products/processes. Assist other member of the department in their understanding & completion of assigned projects. Use a variety of testing/measuring equipment to verify product quality. Read & interpret blueprints. Use SPC techniques. Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Chemistry 3+ years experience Experience in graphic arts or related businesses is desired Must meet medical/fit testing requirements for respirator use | |||
