| Buyer/Procurement PA 50 - 70k (J#13053) Education: Associates Degree Experience: 4 - 9 years Expanding location of a large, multi-site manufacturing company needs a needs a talented procurement specialist. In this role, you will coordinate all activities involved with procuring raw materials and supplies, and expediting delivery of raw materials with customer service, production, warehouse, and logistics. Responsibilities include: Analyze, negotiate, and administer proposals and contracts with suppliers Negotiate with vendors for best pricing, availability, and deliveries for regional and site-specific materials and supplies Maintain and review all procurement records Coordinate with Corporate purchasing efforts to support supply contracts Develop and support JIT supply chain process Work with Quality Department to facilitate supplier audits Experience required: Minimum 5 years recent experience in materials planning, purchasing, or logistics Specific experience negotiating contracts with raw material and supply vendors Specific experience in plastics manufacturing and/or plastic packaging Minimum Associates degree Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to develop strong internal and external relationships If interested, send your resume today with salary requirements.
