Mechanical Designer

Compensation: $60,000 - 80,000

A large custom molding facility is searching for an experienced, degreed Mechanical Designer. This position requires extensive work with vendors therefore communication skills must be excellent.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for designing, developing and detailing mechanical designs for custom injection units
- Design and develop end of arm tolling and customized automation equipment
- Work with vendors for component sizing and specifying, putting together bills of materials and designing with established budgets
- Additional duties and/or projects may be assigned as required

Qualifications
- Seven plus years of experience in machine design is required
- CAD experience is required specifically using Solidworks
- Experience in the plastic injection molding industry is needed, but not required
