Design Engineer XX 70 - 90k (J#26239)
Education: Bachelors Degree

Manages the development and scope of new products and tooling to include external design, development, testing, and manufacturing suppliers. Also defines product safety and quality, as well as validating performance and cost requirements. Maintains a detailed project schedule for engineering development, tooling, and product launch activities. Coordinates with Operations and Sales leaders to achieve the desired results.
Designs the product or tooling utilizing AutoCad and Solid Works
Sources vendors, raw materials, and manufacturers to establish cost, reasonable time frames, quality, and safety measures.
After product or tool is designed, arranges for manufacture or building trials; evaluates results, makes necessary adjustments to the design, raw materials, etc. to accomplish the desired end.
Communicates with customers as necessary to answer technical questions or provide other information.
At the completion of successful trials, works with staff and customers to effect the transition to active manufacture of the product or use of the tool.
