| AUTOMATION TECHNICIAN ASSISTAN WI Open (J#12937) Education: High School Experience: 1 - 3 years Outstanding opportunity for an individual entering the field of automation systems. The main responsibilities are: -Set-up automated packaging equipment which includes: package changes, bag changes and adjustments -Follow and perform preventative maintenance on all automated equipment -Set-up and modify set points and program for the part removal robots as needed -Work closely with Automation Technicians and Team Supervisors to help reduce scrap and non-conforming product Position Requirements: The ideal candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent. The applicant should be working towards a certificate or degree in related field or a minimum of two years work experience in a manufacturing environment is required. The applicant must also possess strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic hand tools. A basic understanding of electronics, as well as the ability to adapt and learn job requirements quickly. Proficiency with Microsoft applications is preferred, but not necessary. This position also requires the ability to walk/stand/work for 12 hour shifts, the ability to lift/push/pull up to 70lbs. and to visually inspect product and packaging quality to quality standards. | |||
