| AUTOMATION TECH. - 3RD SHIFT CA Open (J#11114) Education: High School Experience: 4 - 9 years Molding International and Engineering was established in 1985 and is the premier injection molder, specializing in insert molding. At MIE we deploy a variety of processes to provide custom manufacturing solutions. We also offer extensive capabilities in stamping and forming* THERE IS NO RELOCATION $$ FOR THIS POSITION. Essential Functions include but are not limited to the following: * Teach points on Denso Robots. * Sets up automation, cameras and testers in manufacturing cells so that presses are ready for production. * Troubleshoot and correcting equipment problems, preventative maintenance, and daily interaction with Manufacturing Supervisors and Engineers to improve line efficiency. * Remove auxiliary (automation, testers & Cameras) equipment from press. * Operates under detailed instructions and specifications but the position requires considerable ingenuity to improvise and adapt when necessary. * May instruct trainees who will operate automation, cameras and testers after set-up. * Works closely with shift foreman and is capable of assuming temporary supervisory responsibilities in the absence of the foreman. * Diagnosis and corrects problems in set-up and operation of automation, and other equipment. Serves as a member of the CAT. * May perform routine maintenance. * Clean up all materials from floor and machine when complete. * Maintains automated equipment including but not limited to machine vision systems, robotics and testers. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidate must be mechanically adept, have excellent hands-on problem solving skills, and computer competency including knowledge of Microsoft software applications. Knowledge and experience working on PLC controlled automated systems a plus. Good verbal, written, and computer skills. | |||
