| Automation Systems Engineer OH Open (J#12708) Automation Systems Engineer Summary To implement and maintain a World Class Manufacturing site through the application of engineering fundamentals and advanced process control tools. This person ensures processes are centered, capable and in control by reducing process variations and resolving special cases of variation. Responsibilities Support data communications networks and instrumentation within the plant (S.C.A.D.A) Required. The input for design or development of new process control systems. Developing and coordinating the implementation of World Class Manufacturing projects, which contribute substantially to plant profitability. Implementation and support of PLC-based control systems. . Has latitude for independent judgment and discretion to execute primary objectives within established policies, procedures and practices. Prepares data sheets, diagrams and flow charts needed for the correct and efficient operation of the plant equipment. Uses advanced PLC/Controls tools to reduce process variations. Coordinates changes in the production process. Analyzes operating problems, develops solutions and leads the implementation of corrective action. Ensures full documentation of all projects and systems as built. Education/Skill Requirements Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of implementing PC-based supervisory and PLC-based control systems. A comprehensive knowledge of the practices, procedures and regulations associated with process control technology. This position is for a very profitable Multi-national manufacturer in Northern East Ohio. We offer a base salary up to $85,000, plus an excellent benefits package. Full relocation assistance will be provided based upon individual needs. | |||
