| Automation Engineer TX Open (J#9419) Education: High School Experience: 1 - 3 years Automation Engineering Technician Primary Responsibilities/Essential Job Functions: Build and/or coordinate the building of electro-mechanical systems for assembly machines Ability to design and integrate automated systems to work together Fabricate and/or modify machine and electrical parts as required in the building of automated equipment Assist in the design and documentation of mechanical and/or electrical systems for new for new and existing equipment Assist in the debugging and troubleshooting of new equipment Assist in the integration of various automated systems Provide assistance to Production on maintenance and repair issues of all assembly machines to ensure production capabilities are maintained Investigate new and improved technologies and equipment Provide ongoing support for R&D efforts Miscellaneous duties as requested Minimum Qualifications: Engineering or Associates Degree in Engineering or Design preferred, but not required Must have 4 years experience optimizing automated assembly systems 2 years experience with 3D-CAD system preferred, but not required Proficient with use of personal computer and software Independent work habits High degree of creativity Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Manufacturing work environment | |||
