| Automation Engineer TX 60 - 73k (J#14348) Automation Engineer needed for a very successful Medical Device facility in the Dallas, Tx. area. Should have most of the following: BS in Engineering with overall experience of 7-10 years. Minimum five years experience in automation, successfully implementing automation projects in a manufacturing environment. Sound knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical controls and interfaces. 3-5 years in leading automation projects and developing capital justifications. Sound knowledge of project management. Able to handle outside suppliers. Passion for automation and commitment to lean and continuous improvements. Minimum 2 years of experience in medical devices including FDA and ISO environment preferred. Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, JIT, Kanban, demand flow. Knowledge of EPA and OSHA standards Minimum 4 years hands on experience with process controls equipment including PLCs, DCSs, HMIs, PLC programming, data collection systems, including design and debugging skills. Hands on experience with Windows Servers hardware and Microsoft Windows - applications. Experience with writing software test plans, user requirements, and system design documents. Strong organization, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Prioritizing multiple commitments and technical problem solving ability. Ability to shift priorities according to changes in department/facility needs and be open to different ideas/approaches. Travel- 10%. Salary in the $60k to $73k range. 10% bonus plan, and equity plan. Excellent benefits and relocation assistance.
