Automation Technician CA Open (J#12395)
Education: High School
Experience: 4 - 9 years

Perform a variety of duties related to conceptualizing, developing & implementing assembly & automation solutions to solve customer & manufacturing requirements. Responsible for projects involving day to day set-up, maintenance & troubleshooting & preventive maintenance on robotic & assembly equipment. Participate in product development meetings & make recommendations for product design changes to enhance manufacturing & assembly. Develop automation requirement specifications, system concepts, detail drawings, BOM's & budget. Solicit quotes from vendors, negotiate price & delivery. Conduct design reviews during construction of automation. Install automation & transfer automation programs to production in a smooth & timely manner. Perform initial qualifications & machine validations. Set up & troubleshoot robots, electric interfaces from molding machines & automation, and mechanical & pneumatic valves & circuits. Read & interpret electrical, pneumatic & mechanical drawings. Ability to conduct experiments & solve practical problems involving several variables in routine situations. Ability to use small tools, programming equipment, gauges 7 electrical meters. Working knowledge of pneumatics; hydraulics; electrical wiring; machine & mold design; servo motors; packaging; sensors; robotics; PLC programming; Design of Experiments; automatic parts feeders; sequential operation & troubleshooting; robotic control operations; electrical systems.
