Job Title:Assistant Production Engineering Manager

Reports To: Sr. Manufacturing Manager

Specific Duties:

1.Responsible for the overall maintenance of D.A. Inc.s building, machinery, and all support equipment. (Including- Non-dedicated company vehicles)

2.Responsible for the supervision and skill development of each maintenance team member through delegation of tasking to the Maintenance Supervisors.

3.Responsible for the continuous improvement of the maintenance department (continuous improvement towards a more orderly and controlled system, development of maintenance activities to work more towards a preventive environment, spare parts inventory system, etc.)

4.Responsible for supervising the Production Engineering Department in the various activities but primarily in tasking, scheduling, and follow up of each requirement.

5.Responsible to propose needs for Production Engineering department including Budgets, equipment, and general resource planning.

6.Responsible to coordinate the Production Engineering department duties to ensure both plants needs are met and communicating with the Sr. Manufacturing Mgr. On the status overall and communicating with Plant # 1 Production Mgr. On tasks status for that plant.

7.Responsible for acquiring, planning the setting up and starting support equipment for D.A. Inc.s operation when needed. Includes acquiring bids, cost variance study and proposal of equipment. (Note this task is shared amongst others as the Plant Manager or Sr. Manufacturing Mgr. requires)

8.Responsible for monitoring problems and concerns and reporting to the Sr. Manufacturing Manager at the end of each month on the specific activities to determine countermeasures to be implemented.

9.Maintain D.A. Inc.s water treatment system and underground piping layout through task delegation.

10.Responsible for the cleanliness of all equipment.

11.Ensure all equipment and molds are sufficiently maintained for production.

12.Responsible ensuring the proper training to the Maintenance Supervisors for making sound decisions when determining whether to send molds out for repair or to fix in house.

13.Responsible for acquiring outside tool house for tool repair or build when needed.

14.Responsible for reporting to the Sr. Manufacturing Manager and the Plant # 2 Production Mgr. the performance of the tool repair houses on a as need basis.

15.Responsible for overseeing any Janitorial services for the plant. Internal employed or Outside service. To ensure cleanliness of the plant and or office areas.

16.Work with Senior Manufacturing Manager to establish schedules and milestones for achieving goals set for applicable departments. Responsible for meeting established goals.

17.Work with Senior Manufacturing Manager to develop programs and initiatives taking planned risks for improving quality, manufacturing, and maintenance.

18. Responsible for various tasks as required.
