Department: QUALITY Reports To: QUALITY ASSURANCE MANAGER Specific Duties: 1.Provide Work Directions for Staff: Assign project work to Quality Engineering staff and Technician Staff to meet goals for PPAP and SQAM preparation and APQP activities. 2.Review Customer Documentation and Approve before Presentation to Customer: Sign off on all PPAP and APQP documentation and give feedback to staff as to issues and timetables. 3.Coordination of all Launch Activities: Make sure all appropriate staff is prepared and are involved in program launches doing whatever is necessary to accomplish launches on time with a minimum of issues. 4.Field Failures and Quality Problems Follow-up Activities: Make sure all proper resources are available to investigate, develop countermeasures, and implement corrective actions on customer concerns and field failures. 5.Support for QA Manager: Provide leadership activity to support Quality system in the event of the absence of the Quality manager, including being communication point for customer issues, in-process control activities, Representative on MRB, and continuous improvement activities. 6.Provide Support for the Manufacturing Group: Make sure staff is involved in providing necessary resources to meet evaluation and process change needs as required to maintain a consistent and smooth flow through the manufacturing processes. 7.Evaluation of Job performance for Staff: Manage staff by evaluating their performance, scheduling their work-loads and taking disciplinary action were needed to accomplish company goals. 8. Other Activities as assigned by Quality Manager. | |||
