These materials are in increasing demand from a variety of industries including: Consumer Product, Automotive, Electronic, Business Machine, and Medical Device. New uses for the materials and increasing demand from customers has created an immediate need for a talented Applications / Technical Service Engineer. The Applications Engineer will be part of the R&D organization and will work with a team of professionals dedicated to solving even the most challenging customer problem. The Applications / Technical Service Engineer will be primarily responsible for supporting customer needs in: Product Design and Development Tool Design MoldFlow Analysis Lead customer on-site tool trials Assist customer in troubleshooting Injection Molding and Assembly Problems Requirements include: BS/MS in Plastics/Polymer/Chemical or Mechanical Engineering A minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Injection Molding Process Troubleshooting, Tool Sampling, and Optimization. Experience in plastic materials selection, application, or compounding providing a knowledge of material properties. Experience in the utilization of advanced MoldFlow software and analytical tools.
