Accounting-Plant Controller IL 60 - 70k (J#15747)
Education: Bachelors Degree
Experience: 4 - 9 years

Fortis Plastics LLC., a leading injection molding company located in Carlyle, IL is seeking an experienced Plant Controller.

Below are the major (not all inclusive) responsibilities of the position:

*Standard cost maintenance and analysis
*Product margin analysis
*Customer Account Analysis
*Quote Review
*Monthly Journal Entries and Monthly Closing Process
*Fixed Asset Maintenance
*Account Reconciliations
*Audit preparation
*Financial Statement Analysis
*Assist Plant Manger with profit and loss impact and analysis
*Inventory and cost reconciliation and analysis

REQUIREMENTS:
1. Knowledge of accounting functions, procedures, and analysis.
2. Minimum five (5) years of accounting experience in manufacturing environment.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
4. Experience in computerized data systems with ability to maintain and troubleshoot system. QAD experience preferred.
5. Previous supervisory experience preferred.
6. Basic understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and ability to use them as a reference.
7. B.S. Degree in Accounting preferred.
